About Us Safety Magnets™ was formed by two Arizona moms - Chris Stevens a freelance graphic designer and owner of Stevens Design and Melissa Weisberg owner of Rising Sun Web Design. Melissa was watching Dr. Phil one day when there was a woman on who was always frightened that something bad was going to happen to her kids. Dr. Phil told her that she needed to know what to do in an emergency and that would give her better peace of mind. Melissa had a new baby at the time and had taken Infant CPR classes and had cut out lots of first aid instructions from the newspaper which was stuffed in drawers (who knows where?) but still was not confident should something go wrong. The idea of Safety Magnets™ was born. While there is an abundance of first aid information on the web, in books, and from other resources, in an emergency, you need help fast. When an emergency happens, most people don't have time to find that often misplaced first aid book. What you need is a convenient source of accurate information that everyone in the household can easily locate in an emergency.
