The Problem
Many organizations are still unfortunately relying on unhealthy fundraising activities to raise money for their needs. For example, a nationwide survey conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 2000 found that in 80% of schools, clubs, sports teams, or the PTA sell food to raise money. Of those schools, 76% sell chocolate candy, 67% sell baked goods that are not low fat, and 63% sell non-chocolate candy.

It’s like saying, “You need to eat healthy foods to feel and do your best, but it is more important for us to make money than for you to be healthy and do well.” Classroom learning about nutrition remains strictly theoretical if the school environment regularly promotes unhealthy behaviors.

How Do You Raise Money With Safety Magnets?
Raising money with Safety Magnets™ is pretty straightforward and typically with our Safety Magnet™ Memo Board, you can expect to raise at least a 60% profit without any upfront costs to your organization.
Here’s how to get started!:
- First, Download the Safety Magnet™ Fundraiser Packet. We can also send you some order forms if needed by contacting us. On one side of the Product Order form is an illustration of the Safety Magnet™ Memo Board along with its features; on the other side is an order form that each of your volunteers will use to record their sales.
- Now you’re ready to sell! There is a space on the Product Order Form for you to write in your selling cost. (Our suggested selling price is $5.95 per Safety Magnet™ Memo Board but you are free to adjust the price however you wish. To get an idea of the money you can expect to raise with a $5.95 selling price, see our Profit Table below.)
To help guide each volunteer, we have prepared a Safety Magnets™ Fundraiser script that each Volunteer can use in the selling process. If you prefer, we can also make arrangements for you to have real Safety Magnets™ Memo Boards sent to you to aid in the selling process.
- Placing Your Order. Upon completion of your Fundraiser, simply tally your total quantity from all of the order forms. Then visit our web site to place your master order.
You may order via credit card or Paypal or you can even pay offline. Allow 2-3 weeks for your order to be processed and shipped. The full order will ship to the address you have supplied and then you are free to distribute your customers and/or supporters.
